During the past 3 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of having Tim Henke work for me at zZounds.com. As he moves on to accept new challenges, I welcome this opportunity to provide a recommendation on his behalf.
In summary Tim was employed at zZounds.com from 10/1998 to 1/2001 and was one of our handful of early employees who managed to grow with the company to great heights during the dot-com mania as we raised over $10 million from investors like Paul Allen’s Vulcan Ventures. He saw the company’s monthly sales grow by over 1500% in the period of his employment. Tim left zZounds.com in good standing and with a severance package that reflected our appreciation for his service to the company after we sold the company to private investors and adjusted our staff to a lower-growth strategy.
In my association with Tim, he has been an integral part of our marketing efforts as our chief event videographer, video editor, and sound editor. In his first year, he worked as a sales associate in our store and also provided expert timely, accurate and insightful technical support to our Internet customers.
His editing skills are sharply honed. He has had the ability to take on more than one task at a time to meet deadlines. Tim’s methodical approach to his job can be characterized as truly professional. He was well liked by his co-workers.
